CHRIS KNOPP will drive the "Pancho's Racing Products" #93 sprinter for 2006! Officially annouced at Pancho's Open House on Saturday, Knopp will drive the teams' 410 sprint car. The team will race weekly at both Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway, chasing the points at both tracks. A few other race dates will be added as schedules are released.

"Knopp and the Pancho's #93 team will Win a few 410 races this year in central PA," says Lawler - one of the owners. "Chris has the same goals and will mesh very well with the #93 team, and everyone involved with the team is very excited to have his kind of talent behind the wheel - look to see us out front." This team will have the motors and the cars to be in the hunt every night.

The cars will be Eagle chassis, with Kriner Racing Engines supplying the horsepower. Primary sponsorship will come from Pancho's Racing Products, the owners are Debbie and Pancho Lawler. "Rogers Auto Repair" in Kingsville, MD and "Hellmann Brothers Asphalt" in Jarrettsville, MD will return as associate sponsors, as well as "Harford County Transmissions" will assist as well. Last weekend Chris finished 10th at Lincoln Speedway, and 14th at Williams Grove Speedway. Chris states his first run at Williams Grove was very challenging. During the heat race a car spun out in front of him and a piece of debris on the track caused a broken radius rod. Chris started 24th in the feature and was still able to finish a respectable 14th. Chris and the team are prepared for the upcoming weekend with plans to race at both Lincoln Speeway and Williams Grove Speedway. Chris states the car is handling very well and is comfortable with the progress of the team. Team owner Pancho Lawler is very confident they will win several races this season.

A great weekend for the #93 Team with a 5th place finish at Lincoln Speedway ,and a 6th place finish at Williams Grove. This makes it the most successful weekend for Chris and the team so far this year! Chris now stands 6th place in points at Lincoln Speedway ,and 9th place in points at Williams Grove. Join the team next week on Friday at the Grove and Saturday at Lincoln Speedway!
